Default Nav question

im new to the lexus world and im sure this has been discussed, i was wondering if there is a way to put in a address in the the nav system with out having the car in park. its an 04 ES 330.

i have seen in done on other cars, can it be done on this one?

Yes, You need to perform the overide whenever you get in the car.

Go to the Volume screen, Tap the top left(Starting at the speaker icon), bottom left, top left, botom left of the screen until a different menu pops up. Hold the override button till it beeps, then the override is active. This will allow you to access anything that is locked out while your driving.

i have tried this before, it does not work. the dealer where i got the car did some sort of update on the nav. system.
