Are they interchangeable? In previous threads it has been mentioned, but nobody sounds very sure or has mentioned using them with success.

I can get the Camry ones for about the same price as the eBay stuff, which is why I'd like to put this question to rest.

I have a quick solution for you. Get the Camry strut part number from your local Toyota dealer and then call your local Lexus dealer and find out what they're part number is. If the part numbers match, you are golden. If not, go for the ebay struts.

they dont have the same hoods, so i would assume not the same. but do what lexucan says, i would have done that by now, geesh lol

Nope. Camry's dont even have the gas struts until the 02 model year.
