there is a local gentleman that is selling a decet set of mid ninties ls400 seats.
i need to know if they will fit into my 96 es300.
the "feet" are in the same position and look similarly spaced, and the plugs apear similar.
i cant imagine toyota completely redisigning a power seat from model to model so lets get the scoop!!!
i need to know asap!!

Pity, as I really want to get electric seats in my ES300. And they are not easy to find in Australia, as not a lot of them are wrecked. i thought about SC seats and also the earlier ES300 seats (but believe these aren't as comfy as the 97 seats).

I have done a bit more research (and quite frankly still have more to go) but the SC seats supposedly line up with the bolts on the ES, width wise and rail wise. I believe the seats are wider than the ES, but from the measurements that have been taken, this is only by a cm. The height is also slightly taller than the ES, but again negligible difference.
I guess the only way to really test this is probably to get a spare Soarer seat, and see if it would fit in the car without issue. May take me a while to get there yet, but I am sure I will soon. Will keep you and everyone else updated.
