Default Newbie questions

New member here.

A couple of questions on my new 2005 ES 330 that has about 7,000 miles left on full warranty. Back left window will not go down. Light indicator on that PW switch blinks though. None of the other windows do that. I just can't find what the deal is?? Also trunk will not open with inside button (works fine with key). Any ideas on these two things?

If they are broken, I'd like to get the car to Lexus before I hit 50,000 miles.

Thank you in advance. This forum looks great and I hope to learn about more the Lexus brand here.

The window may just need to be initialized. Try holding the switch in the up or down position for several seconds, This may fix the issue.

The trunk issue, open your glove box, and press the button in the upper left hand side of the glove box opening. That is the trunk button override so that you can lock the glove box and say a valet cant pop the trunk.

yep, JSM is right about the button in the glove box for the trunk. about the window... if JSM's solution doesnt work, take it in to the dealership since its still barely under warranty and get it looked at before you pass those last couple miles

Default Thanks

Thanks to JSM1284 and others for answering my questions. Your suggestions were dead-on. Saved me a trip to the dealership.
