95 ES300 Check Engine Light
I've trying checking this myself but now working.
My diagnostic box in on the passenger side in the hood. I read the directions but the lights on the dash don't blink at all.
I used a paper clip to the TE1 and the E1 and nothing happens. Tried taking it to autozone but they only do the OBD2.
Am I doing something wrong? Really don't want to have to pay 50.00 for something that takes less than 10 minutes. Please help!

The 94 ES models and the ES models thereafter are OBDII compliant. There is a connection point underneath the dash on the driver's side.
Get it read at Auto Zone or another parts place. If they tell you that they can't give you the error code on a 95 model, tell them it's a 96.
