Need Info On Changing The Battery In My 97 Es300
I Need T Oget The Correct Information On Replacing The Battery In My 97 Es300. I Do Not Want To Do It Wrong And Mess Up Any Computer Settings Or Codes.
Is There A Cretain Way To Do This So It Goes Smoothly?
Please Let Me Know Anything That Would Help Me Do This With A Problem.

No worries. Pull the old battery out and take it with you when you get the new one. Compare the positive and negative terminals to ensure they are oriented the same - then install the new battery.
You will lose your clock setting and stereo station presets, but that's it. No code issues.

Remove the NEGATIVE cable first and then wait AT LEAST 90 seconds to remove the POSITIVE cable. This allows the airbag sensors to deactivate.
Attach positive cable first with the new battery. I believe this info is in your owners manual and it's a warning in the service manual.
