Wr Cold Airbox For Es300..
We at Weapon*R are planning a COLD AIRBOX for the ES300..
I want to get a poll on how many people are intrested in one.
We had very good sucess with the other CAB's..

Hardware store:
Sheet metal
Pop rivets
tubing to seal the edges
Take the neccessary measurements and cut the metal with tin snips.
My roomate and I bought all the stuff we need and we're making one for his 91 legend and my 92es.
I've been making homemade mods for my vehicles for about 5 years now, and my friends have been doing it for even longer. I like to save money, and i do remember people complaining about the weapon-R es300 intake.

post some pics when your done... i mean weapon r intakes probly just look good but does the same thing as urs...
im not sure but didint they post a dyno with more than 10 hp from just their intake not the cold air one... thats so much bs
ud be lucky to get 2 hp from it

If we only got 2hp from our intakes, how do you explain our other Dyno's..
FYI... I have never heard anyone complaining how the intakes fit..
How do you guys expect us to prove to you the dyno results?
We post them and you say it's fake.. It's a catch 33 dealing with you guys..

I live in California. Are these CAB's smog legal or would I have to change it to the stock OEM one everytime I go and get my '99 ES300 smogged? If they are not emissions legal then I am not interested because it would be too much of a hassle to change it out every 2 years.

The CAB would not have to be CARB, but our intakes are getting CARB'd right now... Even if you bought our intake , when we get our CARB# we can send you the sticker.. We anticipate the # in 2 months..

Cold Air Box Smog Legal In California

I was told by several individuals that the cold airbox set-up was NOT legal for California Smog emissions because the owner is supposed to have all of the OEM items on the car and visual inspection by the smog technician will reveal that it doesn't so it will not pass. Do you have any documentation to show that the CAB is legal for California emissions? Pardon me if I am a bit skeptical but two other sellers for the CAB type set-up advised me that it was not smog legal for California.
