Exclamation 01; quick offset question.

Does anyone know a *reliable offset to stick with...

Im looking for some basic alloys/rims for my old man's ES... sure enough there is tons of stuff out there...

What are some of you running in terms of 'aftermarket offsets'

Its either some 17's or 16's

i know these cars, like 40-45mm, however is there anyone that has crossed this boundary... with lets say a 33mm or such?

Logically the 33mm would *need? hubcentric rings or spacers to run smooht and not hit the strut/inner wheel well?

regards,
Mike

I was actually wondering the same thing, I found a pair of rims that I LOVE, but they have a 37mm Offset, so I'm not sure if they would fit correctly.

Its not just the offsets but the widths will affect your fitment too.The ideal width in my opinion is 8.5 wide. With that you can have a decent size 225 on there.I mean its not exactly huge contact patch but then again es300's arent competing at the track.

Here goes a pic of mine.I should have took more so I dont use the same ones over and over.lol.

18x8.5 +25 all around Notice they line up perfectly

The ones I am looking at are as follows:

Offset: 37mm
Bolt Pattern: 5-114
Rec. Tire Size: 215/45-18

per Tire Rack.

They are 7.5, for the width. Its the SSR GT3 Wheels, that I'm looking at.

You actually would have 1mm more clearance than mine on the strut part which is good of course.Using my fit as reference, yours would be 25mm more inwards.Thats about an inch. They would most def fit.Just not right on the fenderline if your picky about that. GL!

lol, I just wanted to make sure that they would indeed fit. And as far as them not being right on the Fender line.... that can always be fixed with a drop , lol. Nah just kidding, it really wouldn't bother me that much, and honestly I probably would not notice it.

They will fit nicely if you want one more YES to make you feel better You might even want to put some small spacers in to get them out to the fender tho.
