Question QUESTION :I'm replacing low beam bulb on 2002 ES300

Hello,

I'm going to replace the low beam bulb on the passanger side. Anything I should be aware about before I do it. I know I shouldn't handle the bulb with out gloves, but is there any else that I might run into a problem with. Also can I just buy the bulb at a local Auto Zone or do I need to go to the dealer?

Thank You
Keeper02

autozone works fine. Just get the right one designed for your car. A tip though, replace both at the same time or one will be whiter than the other side haha

You don't need gloves ,just don't touch the glass when you install them. Are you going to Use 9006 Silverstar bulbs?

Do you have OEM HIDs? They require D2R 4300k Denso Bulbs.

Ok Guys.. I called Lexus of Manchester and they pricing HID bulb for $343.00. That is crazy ! I went to VIP and picked one up for 90 bucks. I replaced the buld and still it didn't work. I noticed my parking light is on. Is that like a backup light in case of course the low beam isn't working? I Also noticed when looking at the light cover it had some condensation inside it. I checked all the wires and didn't find anything. I checked the fuses just in case and found nothing. I also switch the bulbs from one headlight to the other just to make sure the bulbs were working. So what could it be?

thanks

Could be a bad ballast.
The condensation could be from removing the hid bulb...and humid air can enter whenever you change a bulb.
