hey everyone hows it going with the weather getting nice out, i pretty much have my sunroof open 24/7 but when i go to close it it just hits the pop-up bar and retracts back, is there any way to reset our sunroofs? i know on my 2004 quest if i hold the down button for more than 4.5 seconds it will reset anything like this on our es? if not that then what other way can i resolve this its so annoying to have to push the button 50 times to slowly inch the sunroof to the close position especially when someone else is in the car

Is the pop-up wind-break bar retracting as it should? It sounds to me like the sunroof it thinking it's a foreign object and automatically stopping itself from closing. I would check that possibility. A small amount of white lithium grease on the rails can sometimes smooth out sticky mechanisms...

yeah when i push down on the bar it goes fully down... thanks for the idea about the lithium grease ill go try some out later tonight and post what happens, i should just spray a little into the tracks right?
