Dash removal
I have looked and don't see any DIY or even an understanding of how hard this is. Anyone done this? I really don't want to pay the $600-800 for someone to do it for me, just to get to the AC expansion valve, but I can't go about it blindly. Any help?

I got an 93 ES of which I changed the whole interior from tan to black.
The whole process is relatively easy except the dash .... ahhh i still got it sitting in my garage. The tricky part is hooking up / replacing the shifter.... the cable is really hard to replace.
Hopefully I'll get the job done soon and post pix...it took me 2 hours to rip everything out and putting back in (-) the dash.

Here is a pdf that shows how to remove the evap core. It is fairly easy on a 96. You do not have to drop the dash on this year. evap removal.pdf
