I think what you are trying to say is: Will the 05 ES330 headlights fit on my 02 ES300?

Yes, it can be done.

So it is exact, thanks for the answer. That is fastenings are absolutely identical?

Yes, They fasten the same. The only difference is if you are using halogen lights. If so the low beam bulb uses a different plug. The HID plugs are all the same.

Actually, the 02 grille dimensions are not identical to the 05 grille. The mounting screws are the same and an 05 grille will mount right up the the 02 hood. You will need to change the secondary release behind the grille as the 05 is longer. When you go to close the 02 hood with an 05 grille mounted on it, it won't close as the grille hits the top of the bumper cover. The cover would have to be swapped out to the 05 as well. The 05 grille needs to resess lower into the bumper cover and an 02 bumper cover will not allow for it. If you swap out the bumper cover, then you have to swap out your fog lights as the 02 are rectangular and the 05 are round.

If the 05 and 02 headlights are both HID, the bulbs are not interchangeable.
The 05 takes D2S bulbs (projector style) and the 02 takes D2R bulbs (reflector style).

I know this cause I tried to do this.

My input was that the 02-04 headlights and the 05-06 headlights are the same dimensions. The dimensions on the sides of the grille and the bumper to the headlight are the same so a headlight swap will yield no fitment issues whatsoever.

All this I know is because I have an 02 ES300 and an 05 ES330.
