my es300 has about 107,000 runs great ..but the check engine light on
scan the codes and this is what came up ...
p0330 knock senor 2 curcuit 2
p0325 knock senor 1 circuit
p0441 eva system incorrect purge flow
p0446 eva emission system vent control circuit
i search all over and it seems i have 2 bad knock senors ...
and the fuel evaporative system ......
how should i go about fixing this should i get the 2 knock senors change first
..or deal with the fuel evaporative syetem ...

i just replaced my canister last night. fairly easy. only about 1-1.5 hours of labor, and costs anywhere from $200-$350. my vehicle is a 97 and it required charcoal canister pn#77740-03063 if i remember correctly. i believe if you have 0441 and 0446 together its a canister issue. or you can try just the vsv p# 77740-12271. approx $50. and the part is a crossover part, and it has been slightly changed from 97 year vehicles. as for the rest. goodluck. i have yet to have those issues.

ill double check when i get home tonight, i believe its pn 77740-03063. and it has the vsv 77740-12271 on it already. but like i said, it might just be the vsv, but chances are 0441 and 0446 are canister IF i remember correctly. it is located under the air intake, held on my 3 10mm hex screws. fairly easy. search "charcoal canister" and i believe my most recent post should be 2/3 down. i paid 314, because i couldnt wait any longer, toyota and lexus were both same price.

its not in the fender. its on the drivers side, under the airbox. b/w the brake master cylinder and fuel filter. its a black box, with 2 round things on top, with probably 6/7 vacuum lines coming off.
