im trying to replace the hood on my 96 es300. I heard that the es300 and camry share the same body type. a es300 hood costs $400 while the camry is $150 is it true that they share the same body or should i go with the es300 hood?

yeah, i dont think its the same. goodluck. i remember searching for one awhile ago, couldnt find anything really. look at local junkyards.

Mechanically speaking the ES300 and the Camry V6 share many parts, but the body panels, though they may be similar, are not the same size or shape. Have a look at a Camry of the same generation. You'll definitely see the differences.
