OK, got a 94, pearl and grey(?). Gold emblems. Should I take them off, sand 'em, and paint them (prob a metallic gunmtl grey). Or should I just purchase some blk prl badges? Anyone know where to get those and not spend a shht load on them???

Painting over chrome will not last long, unless you sand them well.
My rear badges are peeling paint, and looks horrible.
Use 3m decal tape (available at autozone)

You can buff off the gold with some polish.

lextasy.com they got black pearl emblems and chrome sets too. where i got mine and arent cheap plastic they r metal. i tried buffin the gold off of mine and they didnt look to hot so id go with new ones

I painted mine black. They dont look like the black pearls they are just a gloss black. I think they turned out pretty good i hated the gold so anything was better. When i get a job and have the scratch i will get some real black pearl emblems though,

I've got Gold Emblems on my 97 Gold is a sign of Class and richness,Plus people I talk to that see my car love the Gold.Leave Em.But if I was to change them I would go with the Black Pearl it looks good on my gray.

On some Fourth gens, and All black 3rd gens it looks kinda good, admit it guys. I have the chrome and prefer the chrome on all of them.
