Default 1998 es300 Aftermarket wiring

Hey, will be installing a aftermarket headunit in the up coming days. For the people who has already done this, do i need a wiring harness?

I found this on ebay

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Lexus...mZ350059023588

It be great of someone tell me if I need this or not.

Thanks

I bought one of those and it didn't work for me. I'm not sure if it was lack of patience or what but in the end I ended cutting everything up and wiring it my way.

yes, that wiring harness will work. don't connect the ground or yellow wire through the harness, if you do, then you will get a ton of engine noise. run those two wire straight to the battery terminals and this will eliminate any engine noise. this is what happened to me when i installed my alpine w205.
