Transmission shifting wierd
Hey guys my Uncles 1994 ES300 is shiftig very strange, when you are driving first gear wont shift into second until it reaches 5k RPMS 
and then it shifts into second, third and fourth fine. Do you guys have any idea what it could be before he takes it to a shop to have it looked at. It almost feels like first gear is stuck.

Same thing used to happen almost all the time before i rebuilt the tranny. Now it happens when i press the gas pedal slowly and with increasing pressure, and it refuses to shift until 4000 rpm.
Maybe its slipping?
