My 2ES's New Sister...Rolling Shots [Texas Tuner Showdown Pics]
A few of you know I purchased an SC to compliment my ES and to take one step further into Lexus addiction. I've not posted pictures or much about the SC in here yet, but here's a chance to see 'er.
Thread's here in the GS forum because JeffTsai's 2GS was definitely the feature of the day.
Some North Texas Lexus bros and I headed down to Ennis, TX on Saturday for the Texas Tuner Showdown. I went along to help support JeffTsai, so I took the SC to get some highway miles on her and to hopefully get some good photo opportunities. It turned out better than I'd hoped, because we actually got rolling shots, and let me tell ya, my NorTexLex bros know how to handle some cameras! My next goal is to get similar rolling shots of my ES along with some video.
wow, she is a beauty! I don't normally like gold rims, but the combo with that green looks clean! I have always been a fan of that gen SC, the newer one is too eg shapped for my taste. Very nice ride!

Thanks a lot L_Sport!

Awww...how 'bout I carry on the gold thang for both of us for a while? You can always come back.

Thank you. She was all show and no go for this one. I've plans (as you can see in my signature) to go NA-T with 'er, but the brakes and suspension need SO MUCH attention (read: $$$$) that I'm overhauling those systems before tuning the engine. In fact, the BBKs just arrived this afternoon - the last of the many parts I've had shipped this week - and the Daizen bushings are already here, so it's INSTALL TIME. Then I'll recover financially and move on to the NA-T. Then she'll run at the track with the best of 'em!

Don't see too many SCs in the DEP color. Really looks attractive!
Thanks, Lexucan. The paint code for the '97s is "Classic Green Pearl (6P2)" which kinda disappointed me because I'm a DEP fan. But it's close, eh?

Thanks, Kyle and Choas! I felt the same way. You've never seen a hand so shaky when I clicked "purchase" but with the gold accents already on the SC, it worked out well. And I just go out and take naps on the lips, especially the rears; they make a perfect hammock.
I can't wait 'til I'm posting pics of the ES and SC together next. Face it, with Lexus (Toyota) you can't go wrong!
Thanks, Maxx! And all the pic credit goes to m'bro NAiL05. He's awesome on the camera. I've GOT to get some combo pics soon. They got another coat of Zaino this weekend, so they're just begging to be photographed.
