Ok, well as many of you know, as cars get older, certain noises and squeaks start to arise or come about. While the es is still eeriely quiet, more quiet then a brand new 328i, i know that, there are two noises that are making me worry

1. Everytime we close the driverdoor window, there is a creaking noise once the window meets the window seals, and sometimes when you push ever so slightly on the glass to close the door, almost as if it sounds like it is going to break, has this happened to anyone else? i want to bring it to the dealership to have them fix it before it gets worse, but if i don't have to i want to find out whats wrong with it.

2. When turing the wheel, there is a very slight squeling noise when the car is cold, normal thing?

3. When lowering the driverdoor's window, the motor sounds as if it is going to give out, as in it isn';t supposed to sound like that, but when coming back up, the window motor sounds like it should

I'm not sure if im parranoyed s/p? or if these are reasonable things to think about. Input would be greatly appreciated

i noticed a squeak in the wheel when it was cold out for me too. i have a 97 es300. . . i dont know if this makes sense or not but at that time i had 10w 30 oil in the car. once i got a oil change i put 5w 30 in the car and i didnt notice the sqeaking anymore when the car was cold. i dont know if this had anything to do with it or it just wasnt as cold as i thought. . .

well we got an 01 and always use 5w30, so idk lol
