P0125 and P1135
Board,
I have searched all over this and another lexus forum, but end up being confused about what I need to do. I have an es300 1999, i have the CEL and TRAC off lights on. I have the codes read: P0125 and P1135.
I am confused about doing something with the MAF and doing replacing the 02 sensors.
Any advice as to where to start?
THanks

so far, I have replaced the air flow sensor after the air intake filter. I am still getting the p0125, p1133, p1135. I had it reset a couple times to make sure it was not a false reading. THe guy at advanced auto parts said I should disconnect the battery to reset the computer, but I would think the new air flow sensor would fix the CEL (check engine light) if it were the cause. Your thoughts or expereince?
I am wondering if I replace the air/fuel senor between the firewall and the engine? Would this fix these codes? Also, air/fuel sensors are not the same as 02 sensors, correct?
Thanks
Russell

Talked to advanced auto parts guy, who said the o2 sensor must be the same as an air/fuel sensor. They look the same and seem to be located in the same spots.
So I replaced the easy one (located near the front) and reset the light via removal of the fuse. CEL came back on so, I am going to replace the one between the firewall and the engine with the new one I purchased.
I will let the board know in a couple of days.

Board, I have changed my o2 sensor between the engine and firewall. It wasn't that bad. It took about 1 hour to do, from pulling out the front sensor (I tried that one first to see if it would fix the check engine light CEL), putting the car up on a ramp to get under it, to replacing the sensor. I tested the o2 sensor with an ohm meter before I removed it. It gave no readings so I replaced it. I will give it a few days to see if that fixes it.
thanks for the forum
