Ok First I start my car and let it warm up for a good 5-10 minutes.. Then when I start drive my car doesn't shift normal in first and second gear and sometimes it down shifts from second gear to first and its getting on my nerves.. After driving for 5-10 minutes after the first 5-10 minutes the car seems to run fine without any problems.. anyone have any idea what is going on? Is there any way I could get this fixed without having to buy a new tranny? I heard something about putting washers somewhere but I don't know where to begin or any clue on what to do. We'll if anyone has any idea what it might be just let me know.. Thanks in advance..

I think my tranny finally gave up on me It makes some wierd whining noise for about 20 seconds when I first start the car. That is when the car is drivable but it drives like **** and won't shift.. Then when the noise goes away the car just sits there either in drive or reverse all it does it rev. Then I have to turn the car off for about 5 minutes and restart it and it will do it agian.. Now I am thinking its my tranny but if anyone else might have any clue what it may be let me know.. Thanks

Why are you telling us? Come on, let me tell you it straight up, you should be taking this car somewhere
AND at the first signs! Not, continuing to drive! Come on, that defies all common sense. You might have banged up clutches bands etc, now, when it might have only been a valve body problem or clogged up filter. sheesh

well, good luck, take it somewhere by tow truck. and have them repair the trans.

Most shops give a free diagnostic. Check for a reputable shop in your area before going. GL and check back to us with updates.

Its normal for the transmission to have higher shift points and stay in first gear longer in the first 5 minutes of warming up/driving.
It seems like theres another problem with the tranny on top of that.
Sounds like you need it rebuilt.

Getting it towed 2morrow and having my uncle take a look and rebuild it for me. The nos kit was hooked up a good while ago and was barely touched. used less than 5 times. I haven't been putting much power to the car either.. I have been driving normal lately also... Max I would say is about 80 on the freeway.. off the subject:: I was driving it the day before it messed up and damn that was the best ride ever.. I just had the coilovers put on then the car messed up Also I need to find some extended lug nuts.. anyone have any idea where to get some and what brand I should get... I need the ones that fit like a 10mm spacer. Thanks
