Welcome to CL. Not a big fan of 20's on the ES either but it doesn't look bad. It is pretty easy to roll it it yourself if you don't mind messing with the car.

I wouldn't call it rice.. Everyone has their own taste and has a different opinion. Some people think that putting those big rims on an ES really isnt the ES style, you think trying to make the ES more sport is rice... I disagree with this but hey, nobody is right here on what the car build is meant to be.

RICE is a pretty harsh word to describe tucked rims.

Here's your answer and how it's done.

DUBS are no more the definitive luxury style than is VIP, Lowrider, etc.
We take in all styles here. That's why you'll see a separate forum for most car styles on this board.

DUBS it. EXE it. VIP it. Stock it. Just enjoy it.

I think we know where cadeleon stands now.

he's got a point tho... you can't make an ES "Sporty"

the only thing i would do is drop it an inch or two like evryone else mentioned above... and those 235 series are giving you a huge break! try some 230 and see how running over them fruit loops feels lol

very nice overall

very nice overall
But that is the thing, some talk sporty, and yes there is the one guy with the 98 S/C'd car. And according to his definition YOU are in the wrong for even thinking of 'dropping' an ES.

If you look around at the proper examples, they are clean, a simple lip kit or a nice kit overall and the car looks the part. Whether some think it 'appears sporty' well that is their opinion, but when i see a car on here that is done nicely i think to myself i want that look for my CRUISER [yes this is my definition and what my friends call my car] car, NOT sports car. If i wanted a sports car i would much rather get a Golf GTI and mod the hell out of it.
