I was surfing on EBAY the other day and came across this ES300. It's a Palm Beach Edition! I've never heard of it. Unless someone has simply converted this ES and put the badging on it, which is what i suspect. Anyone ever come across this edition? Not quite sure if the ES was meant to have this type of look

Someone please as-splain this to me. I could've sworn I saw another Camry/ES that looked like this. Did Lexus make a palm beach edition for the 00-01 year?

 

I dunno but i dont think this look is meant for ES's ive seen a lot of cars wit the vinyl top treatment such as camrys accords sonatas and the other day i even saw a 1991 gen accord white with blue vinyl top.

I've seen such an ES300 and another Camry around here just like that. Will keep my camera with me so if I see it again I can take a picture.

 

Um. I don't hate it. I didn't even notice little chunks of breakfast suddenly appearing in my mouth when I saw it.

Oh crap. Does that mean my next automotive purchase is a Buick or somesuch?!?
It's just not THAT bad.

ohmigod, I think that is the real deal because there is an ES with a a brown ragtop like that here in South Jersey. I always look at it cause it looks really funny. I will try and snap a pic if I see it again. I thought the person did that to their car on purpose but now I know it was bought like that. Weird

Definitely aftermarket. I guess it kinda matches with the two tone theme. Same color and rims as my car. I tried liking it, but I just cant.

It's aftermarket. By the way, they are convertables arn't they? Never seen that ever... in Australia. Those tops just come right off don't they.
