hii

i have just purchased es300 2001 model coach edition,,,its very nice to drive but

1- engine check light is on and it blink when i drive da car and stops after couple of mins...but the engine runs smooth

2- traction control switch is not working?

3- Cd player loads da cd but the cd button is not working i mean it wont go in cd mode?

4- climate control is not showing outside temperature

can u guys tell me how to fix all this problems

To stop the engine light blinking, make sure the battery cables are tightened, if it's still blinking I would check or have the alternator checked.

 

Welcome to the Club, on 1, you need to find a mechanic with an OBD2 scanner to read the code for you. A flashing cel can be a number of things, including a misfire or even a transmission issue. You really don't want one of them. The scanner port is right by your left knee by where the emergency brake is. If you tell us the code, we can tell you what is possibly wrong.

 

well thanks i will see if i can find a mechanic with OBd2 and will let u know the codes thanx for help i hope its not a transmisson issue
