Well i took it to a different aamco today, and he said to bring it in tomorow for a diagnostic, external, and road test, and IF the transmission was in perfect running order they would perform a

Transmission Services: AAMCO Power PurgeŽ Transmission Flush*
The AAMCO Power PurgeŽ Transmission Flush is the total transmission fluid exchange available only at AAMCO. The service includes:
Complete External Diagnostic Service for your transmission
100% extraction of tired, old fluid
Removal of dirt, grit and abrasives
A check for leaks
Fill with fresh, clean fluid

This in all would run about $179.99 at aamco. Toyota said they would just do a drain and fill for $89.99.

any suggestions on what I should do? I been doing a lot of reading through the forums where ive heard to flush and not to flush, and using amisoil and all that.

once again, 98 es300, tranny fluid is kinda black, just bought it at 133k, not sure if anything has ever been done to tranny before.

Sounds like they are just flushing the tranny fluid, you might be better off just going with Toyota.

Cool

I've heard nothing that makes me want to patronize an Aamco. In fact, I bet if you "Aamco" on here (all forums) you'll not be patronizing them either. No place is perfect, but I'd try other places for comparison.
