check engine light on after getting gas
check engine light came on today along with the TRAC OFF button right after i got gas and i started the car.. any ideas?

As dumb as this may sound,, did you check to make sure the gas cap is tight. I know on some of the newer cars, even having the gas cap loose while driving will throw a CEL. I would just swing the car by your local Autozone and have them do a scan to find out what is going on. They normally dont charge anything to do a scan.

Id have it scanned before I assume anything. Good possibility of an Evap leak code from the gas thing (hopefully).
If not then once its scanned youll know exactly what it is.
