it is a direct bolt on. i didnt need any modification of any sort. it was just a few nuts that you have to take out to remove the light and do the opposite to put the new lights on

I recommend a 20mm spacer if you want them flush or 25mm if you want them ultra fresh assuming you will be using adjustable coilovers & camber.Your wheels are pretty sunk in.If you compare my 18x8.5 +25 to your 18x8 +40 then we got a 21mm difference.Im surprised you cleared the struts actually.
Car is looking good.I really miss my ES300.That is why I dont come around here so much since I sold the dam thing.I wish I had sold my IS300 instead.

i ended going with some 25mm spacers (with the thanks to charley240) and it made the wheels fit a lot better. Still need to dump it, but that will take me awhile to save up.

These are actually not the wheels alleycat orginally bought. I think alleycat had the silver version and mine are polished. The offsets on these are +40 on a 18x8 so its pretty sunken in but pics dont really show it. I wanted a more agressive offset but was tired of waiting for the right ones to appear. I'm only a few mm away front my rear struts right now.
The only reason that i was able to afford these was due to them being used and i picked them up for fairly cheap
. I'm hoping to be slammed on some jic or tein coilovers in the next year. The gap right now is an eye sore.

But anyways if anyone else is looking for a cheap set they have one in 18x7.5 +40 for $725 + $80 shipping

If anyone gets those just buy Kics 25mm spacers and you will be good to go.Those spacers have built in studs so they are mega easy to install.
