Update on project!!! GEn 3 ES (pics)
Bought some new toys recently, some 00-01 tails and new wheels. I know some may say the wheel choice is played too often but its such a clean looking wheel that i've admired for a long time. Wheels need to be pushed out some more i was thinking maybe 25mm rear and 20mm front spacer/adapter? Any opinions?
This is a project i've been working on for several years now; since i'm a broke college student, parts come by slowly compared to other members. But she is far from being over

i hate you....you're college student and you own a set of work eurolines?! Argh!!
Your car is looking so clean! love it! Take off the rear spoiler tho! it's really distracting
The drop and the wheel fitment is quite good. From the pics, I would think a 5mm spacer would make it perfectly flush

Thanks for the compliments maniax but I've always hated that spoiler too. anyone open for a trunk trade that is local or willing to drive (it has sound deaded already installed on the trunk too)?

looking good. i like the wheels, yes they are used quite often, but such a timeless design. i love em. are they 17's or 18's? clean car. while everyone is upgrading, im going back to oem wheels. lol.

I don't think 25mm 20mm spacers are gonna work out unless you stretch those tires and dump the car on coilovers. And you know to ditch the spoiler. It looks really good! Maybe paint the black lower side molding body colored to match too.

good to see my old wheels being put to good use. I ran through some tough times and never got them mounted. They look sweet by the way. A 20 mm spacer is too much...you should be fine with a 5 mm spacer. I remember doing the math on it and a 5mm spacer should give you the same look as charley240 provided that you have coilovers. Tires shouldn't be a problem (I think 215's were mounted?) you probably just have to shave your rear fenders and roll the front ones. Any questions just fire away. They are 18's if anyone is wondering.

The only reason that i was able to afford these was due to them being used and i picked them up for fairly cheap. I'm hoping to be slammed on some jic or tein coilovers in the next year. The gap right now is an eye sore.
