--2000/2001 Tail lights installed but problem--
some said you needs new plugs which i bought but as i'm installing them tonight i noticed i didn't need it and that they pluged right into the new tails.....now here's the problem, i get a light out on the dash, the one that shows the pic of the car in yellow and it shows all the lights in the rear to be out.....the lights all work fine and everything lights up......so do i need to reset something???? i'm at a lost though......they do look so sexy......it was too dark so i'll snap a pic tomorrow. so what could it be?

because the bulbs(not sure if all) but some are dual filaments, you should make sure that they are all ok. have a buddy help you look when you turn on the headlights. make sure all tails are lit up, then press the brake pedal, and majority of the tails should light up even brighter(hence the dual filament). if you dont have anybody, then go find a glass building, and reverse up to it, just use your rear view mirrors to see if your bulbs are actually dual filaments, or maybe if a filament is blown.

ok this is weird.....if the car sits for a while and then is driven then the light is on but soon turns off.....everything works fine.....maybe it's the bulbs because all the tail lights came with it's own bulbs so later on i'll put the old ones back and see what happens
