LOL no problem! I appreciate your assistance The last time I worked on drum brakes if I recall correctly the "star" adjustment nut thingy was positioned in a vertical way, so am I reading the diagram correctly? ... UP to contract and DOWN to expand? That's kinda what it looks like ...

Default Job completed

Okay it's all done! ... I have a few photos but it looks like I may need to shrink them down a bit.

Default a few pics ...

Thanks again for the assistance !!!

*** BEFORE BEGINNING THIS PROCEDURE - make sure that the Ebrake lever is in the down (off) position ***

My lever had 13 clicks ( ... and was pointing nearly straight up) until it would no longer travel, and would barely hold the car at all
After adjusting the rear brakes, the Ebrake handle will now travel 6 clicks, and holds very well !!!
(it was not necessary for me to adjust the cable at the Ebrake -whew-)

remove the rubber plug
align the hole to the bottom as shown
angle the tip of the screwdriver down and push the star spikes downward and away from yourself
once the rotor will no longer spin, reverse the angle of the screwdriver and turn the star wheel the other way - 8 clicks
pop the plug back in and reinstall the tire, do the other side ... count the clicks

the WD-40 stuff helped quite a bit for this project

I have a 96 ES300. My parking brake handle is loose and needs to tighten up. I am looking for a simple diagram that shows where I can adjust it.

Thanks
