Hi all. Wondering what's the best way to darken the rear tail lights? Do people use a tint on the outside or a spray or do they pull the rears apart and spray from the inside or what's the go? What's the best way to go in relation to it lasting?

transparent paint (smoke) and get clear coat. (Recommend wheel clear coat for high heat so it won't fade in the sun)

 

you can use VHT Night shades and then a clear coat on top or you can use vinyl tint and lay it over the lense.

 

vinyl tint!!!! becuz painting them make it permanent...

 

vinyl. since u can always remove it later if u change ur mind

 

You can also remove paint just a bit harder. I donno how much to do vinyl to paint and clear coat is like 10$ or less.
