You're probably Right about the factory ES wheels execpt that mine are trashed and the ones I have are loners. Should I decide to get tires for the sawblades, what profile and width would I need?

Would need the offset and width to know that. To be sure on tire size use http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html.

the size i'd use is 215/55/16

i dug this up from toyotanation

16"x7"
+37 Offset (+38 if you have the 91+ 5-spoke wheels)
Wheel weight = 23lbs (I think this is the sawblades, I'd have to weigh my 5 spoke wheels)
Bolt Pattern = 5x114.3
Stock tire size = 225/50-16

So do I need spacers in the rear for the 98-00 Gs300 16in rims?
I found a chrome set for 300 in excellent condition.
