well the idea is to give me something to do and to save a much money as possible because i wanna make this car a flip. I really wanna hone in on my mechanical and detailing skills so buying sub $2k cars, fixing them and selling them is really what i wanna do for now. So i def want to avoid taking the car to a shop as much as possible. I can get the part for $85 online.

I did CV joints on my Probe GT back in the day. The only advice I can give you is get a crobar ?sp? and pound away til it gives. Be sure to eat a big bowl of Wheaties that morning too, you will need it.
