Default ES300 loaner

Please guys I'm not picking on the ES but......

I just brought in my IS300 for service and they gave me a brand new 2002 ES300..

I gotta tell you... I used to get to drive my old bosses 95 or 96 old body style ES300 ALL THE TIME and that model was soooooo smooth compared to the new one...It had such a nice thrust to it... now it seems like you really have to stamp down hard and then it still doesn't really move like the old one did?,, Whats up with this, it's almost like its delaying a tad too. like its thinking about what you just did before it actually does it.... I know I'm not crazy!.. I just remember the old one just blasting out of the hole and having pretty darn good top end too... But the new one just kind of grunts if you floor it on the freeway and never really pushes you back like the old one did......

They sure have refined the interior though....

This to me seems like a serious thing because I thought I was going to get into a little jet when they handed me the keys, although maybe the car just grew up and got slower and less sporty than the old one was... AND NO..I'm not just used to the IS300 either.. I never forget the way a car i drove handles or acts

Please any thoughts??

Damn, you got a good loaner. When I put my ES into service, all I got was an 02 Corolla.
