Default 2003 ES300 Drive bell replacement issue

Hi,

I have a question that do you think it is wise to get drive bells change at dealer of toyota instead of Lexus? Does it make difference in price? Are those compatible for my 2003 es300? I believe I am going to change my drive bells soon, and I am trying to cut down the cost. Any suggestions and comments are fully appreciated.

Toyota will be cheaper just because the hourly rate is cheaper. They are the same drive belts used on the Camry or Avalon. Toyota/Denso belts.
An independent mechanic will be even cheaper.

they are easy to get at so doing yourself is the cheapest.

Thank you for this information. But how to change all belts by myself without tools and assembly information. Would you please offer me some methods or information that really help get it down. BTW, are the original belts made by denso? Or you suggest to use denso one? Thank you very much.

The original belts are made by Denso.

The easiest way to change the belts is to remove the right front tire and then the wheel well shield. Then the belts are in plain sight and easy to get at. There are only two of them. If you have never done them, then it may be best to take it to a professional so the tension on the new belts is set properly.
