Hey CL first time posting lol, is it normal for the area around the gear shift to get hot? like, not cooking hot, but if I left my hand there it would be uncomfortable.

also my seat heater delete fell into the hole, is there any easy way to get it out? I'm going to try some 2 sided tape and stick and see if I can, other than that is there an easy way to get into that area?

I want to clear my front turn signal, but in Hawaii you have to have some form of orange reflector on that part of the car, do you guys think it would be ok to sand/cut down the reflector and superglue it back into the headlight?

My driver's side door won't open from the outside, I think I found the problem by following some of the guides on the newer models. there is a pole that goes into a hole, that is attached to the outside handle. but I can't get a zip tie around it, it might be too big? but mostly its just really akward for me to reach in there and get a zip tie around it. Ive opened the door as far as; getting the panel off, moving the plastic rain guard and that metal piece behind that.I'm scared to open the car door anymore mostly cause I don't have another car to use and I cant drive around without a window :x

Take out the center glove box bin (2 bolts on the bottom) and you'll have easy access to the underside of the hand brake area.

For the door...the problem should be a broken plastic clip...

 

Yeah, I've head of this clip... but I have not seen it or felt it at all on this metal rod thing.
