Check Engine Light on for a few days, then goes off?
Hey guys, just a few days ago my check engine light lit up, but I didn't have time to visit a garage so I put it off till I did have time. Well fast foward a few days and the check engine light just disappears?
Anyone knows what's going on? Should I still have it checked?

Yes, take it down to the auto parts store and get the codes read as soon as possible. Most codes will be stored for awhile, if the error condition does not return in a set period, the code will erase itself. Get it read now because when the code returns, which it probably will, you will at least have more information when you bring it to a mechanic. When I turned wrenches professionally, it never ceased to amaze me how many people would bring in their cars and not be able to give any reasonable description of the problem. At best that would mean that we would have to spend longer looking for the problems, and of course some mechanics do take advantage of this type of situation.

I've had the same thing (check engine light and O/D light on and off intermittently). Had the O2 sensor replaced, as well as a shift solenoid. Now I'm told that I have to have the transmission replaced (torque converter). I have a feeling there should be some kind of recall on this 'cuz I'm seeing a lot of similar problems. Getting a 2nd opinion tomorrow. In the meantime, any input?
