Just purchased 1999 ES 300
Howdy-
After shopping pretty hard for 6 weeks, I just picked up a 1999 ES 300 with 118K. Oyster Pearl over Sage Leather.
Timing belt was redone at 90K and front struts were replaced at 110K. Car was a CPO and I am the 3rd owner. Only disappointment was there really were not many oil change records, but an oil change was done by the dealership with the strut replacement and if there was any sludge problems they should have caught it there (fingers crossed). I will be getting my next oil change at the dealer and making sure.
It's in good shape with the following exceptions-
Passenger side seat switches - the plastic trim piece that holds the switches on the side is broken. Looks like a locking tab under the front has been broken off and the screw holding it in place (on the back of the seat) is missing.
Worn leather - driver side has wear (no tear) on bolster, steering wheel top is worn, quarter sized spot on rear passenger seat (not torn). Looks like heat damage.
Rear seat cup holder - rings are broken, but they are pretty flimsy to start with.
Needs floor mats and clip - not a problem, just looks, carpet is NOT worn or stained and is in good shape.
Need second fob for wife
I'll be posting with more questions soon, sorry no pics as camera is on the fritz.
Cheers!
