I have leased an Es 330 from Lexus since May o5 and will be returning it in may 09.
My question is has anyone returned a leased lexus with worn out tires? do they charge you? would they let you go if you have low miles on the car?
Are they also picky with little scratches and stuff like that?
any response will be appreciated!

The leased vehicles I've returned have all had good rubber.
the last one an SC, I hated the Run Flats and had peformance tires put on. When the lease was up I put the original rubber back on. I'll be doing the same with my current SC.
I believe Lexus has the right to ask you to have good rubber on the car. Whether or not they will may depend on your relationship with the dealer. On the other hand, if the dealer doesn't want the car and it may go to auction I would think that they would want ood rubber on the car.
What I would not want to happen is to have Lexus bill me me for tires. If the rubber is that worn, I'd replace the tires now and enjoy the new tires for 8 months. Or at the last minute put the cheapest tires on the car that I could find.
