Well I took the day off to take care of some things around the house and mainly to change my oil. Well after reading all these forums about oil changes I am a bit confused. Here is the dilema. I bought this car about three months ago and this is the first time I am changing the oil. I have no idea what oil was used previously. I bought a filter from Lexus. I was going to buy some Mobil1 synthetic oil but I came across some forums about leaks forming if you switch to synthetic. My car has 108K miles on it now. So......which oil should I go buy, I would still like to do this tonight so any quick replies are greatly appreciated. Thanks !!!!

well, it usually happens because the seals tighten up and the synthetic runs through, since you already bought it, give it a shot and do the oil change. if leaking starts, then just switch back to regular oil so that it can swell the seals back up.
my brother did this on his car, and switched back to regular after it started to leak, and problem was fixed.
