Its in the Factory Service Manual. I've tried realigning the windows before (following the exact instructions) but the windows wouldn't budge. Basically, you open the door panel, and loosen some screws/bolts that hold the window on the track, adjust, and tighten. I would suggest looking at the manual for yjr 3rd gen es w/ more specific instructions.

There is about three different ways you could adjust the window. I just changed the driver windows regulator a couple of weeks ago. Under the panel, there are rubber stoppers on the rails. Bottom of the panel has another couple of strange looking plastic screws that allow the window to "sway". Finally, the glass itself is bolted onto the regulator and must be adjusted to fit perfectly. Good luck and maybe a couple of beers will help ease the headache. A second pair of hands help. Trial and error is what I used, but then again, I never changed a regulator again. Good luck!
