Homelink Question
Hi i just recently purchased a 2000 ES coming from the 1GS family. All i can say is this car is great! Comfortable and luxurious. Well my problem is programming the Homelink. I did a search and most people were getting referred to Homelink.com. I used this http://www.homelink.com/programming/...clude=gdo_main
After following those instructions i cannot get it to work! Its been days now trying. When i hold the two outer buttons for 20 seconds i get a fast rapid blink for a couple of seconds, i read here that its supposed to blink slowly?(I may be wrong). Then i run to my Liftmaster and press the learn button in the back. I go to my car and try to assign the button and nothing. I even tried the procedure where you try to program it through the Garage opener and still no success Any ideas? or do you guys experience this problem also?

Hold the outer 2 buttons until it blinks rapidly. You just cleared the memory.
Get your garage door remote and put it within a couple inches of the Homelink buttons. Press the transmit button on the remote and hold while at the same time pressing the Homelink button you want it assigned to. When it starts blinking, it's programmed.
If it won't open and close the garage, you need to go into the garage onto the actual motor, find the "learn" button, and press that, then go out to the Lexus and press the button you assigned to open the garage within 30 seconds. Press it a couple seconds, release, repeat until it starts to work.
