Part #'s for Fog Light H3's
I am trying to change the fog light bulbs from stock to amber H3's on my 2001 ES 300. I was sold a pair of Nokya's and my Toyota dealer said they are the wrong one's.
My question is, what brands have some of you used for fog light replacement bulbs, and what are the PN's so I know what to buy? Personally, I think the Toyota mechanic just didn't know what he was doing.
I also want to change out the low beams to an H7 in an "arctic white."
I am new, so any help you can give me would help, and if there is another forum topic on this, please provide me the link! Thanks and Happy Thanksgiving!

Unless I am mistaken, all H3 type bulbs should fit your fog lights, with no issues, regardless of brand.
have you tried replacing the bulbs yourself to see if they do not fit? There is a very nice How-To guide on here on how to do the fog lights, and coming from someone who has only changed his oil, it was even easy for me to do.
Anyways, part number on a standard Sylvania H3 bulb is H3100W.

I have had great success with PIAA bulbs.
They make a yellow H3 fog light bulb called "Ion Cyrstal"
They have a bright white bulb that comes in the H7 format: Xtreme White (4000k).

Part #'s
I was afraid to try it myself, as I am not a very confident DIYer. I think I may have to do so, however.
I just don't understand why the Toyota dealership stated I bought the wrong bulb. I am almost certain I did not. I just think they couldn't be bothered, or the technician didn't know what he was doing (scary thought).
Thanks for the replies thus so far, and I will check out the thread on DIY replacement.

Heres the DIY for the 97-99. I'm not sure how much different the 2001 is from the 99 when it comes to doing to the Fog Light Replacement, but you should be able to still reference this..
