Help with HID for 2000es
Hello guys, i am new to this forum and i didnt really have time to use the search function to answer my questions so please dont flame me cuz im a "nub". ok so here are my questions.
1. Can i find a good and reliable HID's for 2000es that are relatively cheap(lets say the whole kit for under 200bucks?)
2. IF i find that kit for the price i want can u recommend me the best lumen power in K's for night driving that will also make my car look stylish. If uve got some extra time u can just write pros and cons on HID and theyre different colors as well.
3. Is this a good kit? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/H7-Xe...Q5fAccessories
thanks and its nice being a part of this websites community

I have HID on my 2000 ES300 Fog Light.
I am using the HID Kit that I am selling.
The O.E.M. H3 bulb is the SPECIAL SMALL H3 bulbs. Take apart your housing and look at the bulb.
If you want HID for your fog light, you will have to remove the back cover and fit the normal sized H3 HID Light bulb into there. (Which is what I did.)
I hope it helps you out.

You can find a very good quality kit from the vendors here on clublexus. I recommend xenondepot. They have kits ranging from 119.99 to 174.99 (on sale for the holiday season). From what I hear, their kits are second to none and their customer service in incredible. As for the best lumen output, 4300K will provide you with the best light output. This is what comes OEM in cars already fitted with HIDs. 4300K is the brightest white. As you move up in color temperature, the light turns to blueish and then to purpleish. However, this decreases light output dramatically. If I were you, I would go with 4300K but definitely no higher than 6000K. Of course if you're interested in that ricer look, go with 12000K lol. And FYI, your going to need the H7 kit for your 2000 ES.
