New Battery Install

New Battery Install
My 2002 ES 300 still has the original battery, although with the colder temperatures, acts like it may be time for replacement (before it strands me). Is this a difficult battery to install by yourself? (I've become a pro at replacing the battery in the C4 series Corvettes, where you remove the side of the car!)
Also, when the battery is removed, what happens to the Lexus Navigation system? Will this need to be reloaded to the system, because DVDs did not come with the car when it was new, or will I need to go see the dealer. (Not a good option -- we don't see eye to eye on a few issues, and the closest dealer is an hour away.)
Are there any other tricks that I should know about installation before jumping in?
Thanks in advance for your help!

I was in the parking lot of Advanced auto at the time. They did the battery for for under $100. Wasn't worth getting my hands dirty.
it is an easy swap, but you will have to redo your memory settings and you'll lose memorized destinations on the GPS, but the GPS itsself should be fine. I believe the program is stored in non-volatile memory.
