What gives the ES V6 engine 8% more power than the Camry V6 engine? They're the same engine, and someone said they even have the same compression ratios (not sure if this is true, since Camry's V6 is spec'd for regular unleaded while ES V6 runs on premium).
It appears the only reason the ES version has more power is from using premium instead of regular gasoline.

Octance shouldn't affect horsepower at all....
But Toyota Probrobly gave the ES more power since you're Paying more money!
I don't know what exactly they did...
Could it be VVT-i?
Does the Camry Have this??
