Talking 2002 ES300 Finished Brakes and Drop

I took the pics of the final project today. I slightly overexposed so it was easier to see the wheel / fender gap.

Recap of project:

K-Sport Coil Overs.
Front Dropped 2", Rear Dropped 1.75".
No Rubs.
No bottoming of wheels against body.

Brakes: Rotora Front 4 piston, Rear 2 Piston, 12" Discs Slotted and drilled. Hit the brakes and thecar now feels like you hit a patch of crazy glue.

Stainless Steel Brake lines installed (included with brake kit)

May adjust (soften) the rears a bit, want to live with it awhile first

BEFORE PICS:

Brakes Installed and car dropped:

The parts:

K-Sport Coil-overs

Rotora Brakes:

Parts Installed:

Front Strut & Brake:

Rear Brake & Strut:

I think you meant SLICK, not sick. ROTFLMAO

I was thinking of possibly a bright orange paint job and a SuperBird style rear wing.

If we lower the rear another inch we'll get some rubbing.

Not planning on a body kit.

In the spring possibly an air intake kit, maybe exhaust, perhaps satellite radio.

I'm surprised K-sport makes coilovers for this car!
Looks great!

As for the rubbing.....pfftt

Tools needed:

Hammer
Hammers
Hammer
HammerSsSss
Beer

Some elbow grease.

You forgot the Duct Tape and you don't have enough beer on the list
If we DUCT TAPE the edges of the wheel wells that might help the rubbing.

Default After living with the modsfor a month

I've enjoyed the mods for the last month.
Car handles like a totally different vehicle.

The only complaint I had was there appeared to be some wheel hop from the rear along with some excess noise associated with it. I had the shop ease back and soften the coil rate and hydrolics. I think we hit the right mix.

Ride is great, love it no regrets

Wow that's some very good quality brakes and suspension you have put onto the ES. Very good work.
4 Piston Calipers on the front

Wish i had $7500 to drop on my ride. If i did, It wouldnt be on brakes LOL. Looks great nonetheless. In the case of the gutless ES (engine wise, they arent the fastest thing) I prolly would have done the same though.

Now, If i had a Supra...i would be seeing what $7500 worth of parts for the engine would look like, cause i can install all of this myself.
