I believe you have brake rotors and pads on BOTH front and rear.
A simple use of the search function will get you this:

I just remember something. When I was replacing my brake pads and rotors on my 97 ES300, there were brake shoes in the rear but they were only for e-brake only. You don't have to replace the brake shoes because you don't use your e-brake to brake. However, you might need to adjust the brake shoes to the new brake rotors.

Things that you will need or need to know:
- RTV sealant (anti-squeal)
- caliper lube
- WD-40
- anti-seize lube
- brake cleaner
- jack stands!!!!!!!
- don't over-torque the little 12-14mm bolts!!!
- c-clamp (to push the pistons back in)
- brake fluids (bleeding)....and don't get it on your paint!

Too bad I didn't see this post this morning. I was working on my car all day I took my knuckle off to change my front studs. I will take pictures for you 2morrow if you haven't done it urself already. I didnt take the brake pads off but you will need to remove 2 bolts in the back. you will need a 17 socket and it should be easy to take off.

Thanks so much but I found it to be very easy. It was a success!!!! But, I did find a problem with the passenger side control arm bushing. Do I need to buy a whole new contol arm? or just the bushings to replace? Looks like the ball joint towards the back of the arm is fine, but the bushings in the middle looks shot........

There are some aftermarket bushings. It will require you to get a press to push the old bushing out and push the new one in.
