Opinion? Black on Black?
Hello,
I've been in a huge debate about making my lexus black on black, its a very biased look between many people. I personally love the look of it. I kind of hate how flashy chrome makes your car look.
I'd be able to make my grill black, the side marker on the fender black, the rims black. However, not the head lights, due to the 05' projectors being .. well not black. I don't trust those halogen black housing eBay lights as I want HID.
How would that look? Should I just consider doing the mix of silver/chrome and my black car. ?
Opinions?
Help!
Thanks.
Here is my car by the way as it is right now. Without the 05' projectors.

Well, if it was my car, I wouldn't go for it, but then, it's not my car, it's yours. And therefore, since you love the look, I say... DO IT!!!

One reason why I keep some chrome on my 2IS is that it stands out more, letting people know it's a Lexus.
I see so many blacked out civics, impalas, maximas, etc that I just think the look is a bit tacky
that being said, I do intend on blacking out my headlights and my front grill =)

Well, now looking at the side markers I've found. They look nice, but don't appear to look anything like my current stock side markers? Would they fit? O_o

Black looks really good. So I say go for it. I'd also go with the Black Chrome Side Marker Set from Carson Toyota. I'm kinda old school and I would go with chrome rims as well...Keep up the good work...

I'm not sure what kind of lip you can get on wheels for the ES but if you're not big on chrome I'd consider silver wheels with a chrome lip, IMO that would look great with your current trim without being too flashy.

I think it looks great, really clean. I like it without the side markers at all, it's a shame you can't get a front bumper without them, but even if you black it out you'll still see some light shine through right or you'll take the bulb out? If you are interested, you can find clear side markers on ebay. I bought the black chrome emblems and clear side markers on ebay really cheap. I have the 05 in dark blue. I'm pretty positive the ones you found on l-tuned won't fit.
