Headlight washers problem 2ES
Anyone have any experience with fixing the headlight washers on the 2ES? These are standard in Canada. I think I accidentally froze mine during a recent cold snap. When activated the headlights dim for 2 secs, so it seems that the pump motor is pulling current, but no fluid is pumped out the jets and none on the ground either.

I haven't had any problem with mine except for when a truck backed into the front end of my car couple years ago. After that they didn't work. Turned out the pump for the headlight washers got damaged, so the bodyshop ordered a new one for me. I think it sits in behind the front bumper somewhere. They had to take the bumper cover off to get to it.

Yeah, a big ol' Ford F-350 pickup backed into me while my car was sitting in a car wash stall. I'd just gotten out of the car to fetch my wash mitt out of the trunk. I was bent over with my head in the trunk when all of a sudden the whole car leaped backwards, knocking me right on my azz. I scrambled to my feet thinking someone was trying to steal my car and run me over in the process! Then I realized that some numb-nutz had backed his truck into me. His trailer hitch punctured my front bumper cover, buckled the hood, and broke the passenger side headlight assembly...oh yeah, and the headlight washer pump. Not so much as a tiny scratch on his truck!
So just beware...even though you may be surrounded by concrete walls, lousy drivers will still try to get ya!

On many Toyota/Lexus vehicles, the easiest access to the washer fluid reservoir and the windshield and headlight washer motors is through the wheel well. Turn the front wheels all the way to the left or right as appropriate and remove a few screws or bolts and push the inner fender liner out of the way enough to access the reservoir and washer motors.
